Mourners were left shocked after a burial ceremony in western Kenya turned dramatic when a pastor stopped workmates of the deceased from giving tributes and instead used the moment to lecture them publicly about their relationship with the late colleague.

The emotional burial, which had attracted hundreds of mourners, began peacefully as family members, friends, and neighbours gathered to pay their last respects. 

However, tension started when several workmates stood up, preparing to share glowing tributes about the deceased’s kindness, generosity, and dedication at work.
