What was meant to be a solemn farewell in Siaya County turned into a scene of pain and chaos after a US-based Kenyan woman was allegedly attacked by her ex-husband during a funeral ceremony. 

The shocking incident has sparked heated conversations online, with many Kenyans expressing concern over rising cases of jealousy, unresolved relationships, and emotional violence among former couples.

According to close relatives, the woman had travelled back to Kenya from the United States to attend the burial of a family member. 

However, tension reportedly began after photos and videos of her with her new husband surfaced on Facebook days before the funeral. 

Friends claimed the posts quickly attracted attention back home, including from her former husband, who was allegedly angered by the public display of her new relationship.
