Confidant Alleges Why PCEA Pastor Ndumia Was Killed After he Allegedly Expressed Fear For Life

Fresh details have emerged regarding the killing of Julius Ndumia, a pastor of the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA), with close associates claiming he had expressed fears about his safety before his death.

According to a close confidant, Pastor Ndumia had recently become increasingly worried about his security, allegedly due to leadership disagreements within the church.

The associate claimed the late clergyman had repeatedly voiced concerns that his life could be in danger in the days leading up to the tragic incident.

Another church minister, Robert Waihenya, reportedly stated that the killing has created fear among fellow clergy members, many of whom are now questioning whether the attack may have been connected to internal church conflicts or carried out by external individuals.

Pastor Ndumia was reportedly attacked at his residence located within a church compound in Lanet on the night of May 3, 2026.

Investigators believe the attackers used a sharp object, possibly an axe, during the assault. Reports indicate that the pastor suffered severe neck injuries that led to his death.

During the incident, the church watchman was also reportedly assaulted and tortured before the attackers escaped.

Authorities further stated that the suspects searched through the pastor’s residence and office, ransacking the premises before fleeing.

Despite the extensive search, reports suggest that nothing was stolen from the property, leaving investigators uncertain about the motive behind the attack.

The unusual circumstances surrounding the killing have intensified speculation and concern within the church community.

Police investigations are ongoing as detectives work to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the murder and identify those responsible for the attack.

Meanwhile, members of the church and local residents continue to mourn the late pastor while calling for justice and improved security.
