For many women, marriage is often seen as a dream built on companionship, trust, and lasting commitment. But for one Nairobi woman, the journey to finding true love has been marked by heartbreak, disappointment, and emotional exhaustion after walking down the aisle 12 different times.

At 47 years old, Miriam Achieng’ has become a symbol of resilience after enduring failed relationships that left her emotionally scarred, financially drained, and struggling to understand why lasting love seemed so far out of reach.

“I have cried countless nights asking God why my relationships always fail,” Miriam says softly, seated in her modest home in Nairobi. “I have loved deeply, sacrificed everything, and done my best to build stable homes, but somehow, things always fall apart.”

Her story has sparked conversation among many women in Kenya who silently struggle with repeated relationship disappointments despite being hardworking, attractive, and caring partners.
A Painful Pattern of Broken Relationships

According to Miriam, her first marriage began with hope and excitement. She married in her early twenties, believing she had found the man she would grow old with. However, the marriage collapsed after only three years due to misunderstandings and infidelity.

“I thought maybe I chose the wrong person,” she recalls.
