Anxiety Grows After 15 Learners Are Reportedly Abandoned by Sponsor Before Grade 10 Admission

 

Hope quickly turned into heartbreak for 15 needy students after a well-wisher who had promised to clear their Grade 10 school fees suddenly disappeared without a trace. 

The students, most of whom come from struggling families, had already reported to different schools believing their education was secured, only for the shocking truth to emerge days later.

Parents said the mysterious benefactor had visited the area earlier this year promising to sponsor bright but vulnerable learners. 

Excited families rushed to process admission letters, buy uniforms, and prepare their children for the new school term. 

However, after the students arrived in school, administrators reportedly began demanding payment after realizing no fees had been deposited.

The situation left many parents confused and devastated, with some accusing the man of giving them false hope during their most desperate moment.
