Images of a rumoured Ksh2.7 billion retirement home connected to former President Uhuru Kenyatta in Narok County caused social media to go crazy on October 19. Uhuru was rumoured to have moved to a 1,000-acre farm in Oloolmongi, Trans Mara; internet reports claimed the mansion was located in the centre of Maasai Mara.
"Uhuru's new multi-billion home situated at the heart of Maasai Mara," somebody wrote as a caption for the images.

Recent images of Uhuru in Narok sparked rumours that he was retiring. He made ten reservations for lunch at Zebu Lounge on October 13 and surprised the staff by making a dramatic entrance. In addition, Uhuru made a donation of a 53-seater bus to Partakilat Primary School, keeping a pledge made during his administration.
According to reports, Uhuru might move into his Transmara retirement community, which he allegedly bought from Olerien and the Kengani group in 2020.
The ranch overlooks Maasai Mara Game Reserve, providing a unique view for tourists. Additionally, the former president is said to have established a multi-billion tourist lodge on another piece of land in the county.
