Gathoni Wamuchomba Breaks Silence With One Word Message After UDA's Humiliating Defeat in Ol Kalou

Gathoni Wamuchomba has finally spoken after weeks of silence following a major political setback for the United Democratic Alliance party in Ol Kalou.

Sources close to the politician revealed that she expressed deep shock at the outcome, managing only one word in response: Jesus.

The defeat comes at a sensitive time for Wamuchomba, who recently left Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's camp to join President William Ruto's UDA party.

Her switch had generated significant attention and expectations within the ruling coalition, positioning her as a key figure in efforts to consolidate support in the Mount Kenya region.

However, the results in Ol Kalou appeared to deal a blow to those ambitions, with UDA candidates facing strong opposition from rival factions. Political observers note that the loss highlights ongoing divisions within the party structures in central Kenya.

Wamuchomba's decision to align with UDA was seen by some as a strategic move for influence and development projects, but critics argued it reflected shifting loyalties that may have alienated her traditional support base. Insiders say the single-word reaction captured her disbelief at the scale of the rejection.
