Lawyer Ndegwa Njiru now wants President William Ruto punished for that he claims is the poor leadership he has put kenyans through.
Njiru has stressed the need for Ruto to be made to pay for his alleged since once he leaves power, especially if he's defeated in next year's election.
He has called upon opposition leaders to ensure Ruto is arrested and jailed for his wrongs immediately after he hands over power to the rival team.
The lawyer argues that Ruto has turned Kenya into disgrace in the eye of the global community and cannot be allowed to go free once his term ends.
"The United Alternative Government must unequivocally pledge to investigate, charge, prosecute and where found culpable convict and jail him immediately after he hands over power ," he says in an X post.
Njiru says such have been witnessed in other countries, including South Korea, and it is time Kenya followed suit.
"The Ex-South Korea President Yoon Suk Yeol was jailed for 30 more years for sending drones into North Korea; he's already serving life over his failed 2024 martial law bid," he pointed out.
Njiru has been a vocal critic of Ruto since the impeachment of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua in 2024.
He is among the lawyers representing Gachagua in his bid to overturn the impeachment, as he seeks to face Ruto in the 2027 polls.
