Linda Mwanachi MP Expected to Attend Ruto's Camp Rally in his Constituency

Funyula Member of Parliament Oundo Mudenyo is among leaders expected to attend a high-profile rally linked to President William Ruto’s camp, set to take place within his constituency.

According to a poster shared by the President’s aide Farouk Kibet, the event is scheduled to be held at Moody Awouri Stadium in Samia on Saturday.

The rally is anticipated to draw several prominent Kenya Kwanza leaders, signaling its significance in the region’s fight for support.

Among those listed as expected attendees is Mudenyo, who is associated with the Linda Mwananchi faction.

However, his participation remains uncertain, as he has yet to publicly confirm whether he will attend. This comes amid his alignment with leaders advocating for President Ruto’s removal from office in the 2027 General Election.

Leaders firmly backing the President are also expected to grace the occasion, including Busia Governor Paul Otuoma and National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula, among others.

Meanwhile, the growing influence of the Linda Mwananchi movement continues to stir fresh political tensions within ODM.

While a section of the party supports cooperation with the government, the Linda Mwananchi wing has maintained a hardline stance, opposing any form of collaboration.
