What was supposed to be a joyful graduation celebration turned into a humiliating scene after a young man allegedly staged a fake graduation ceremony and embarrassed his female friend in front of mourners and guests. 

The incident, which has since gone viral online, left many Kenyans debating the lengths some people go to in order to maintain appearances and seek validation from society.

According to reports shared online, the young woman had travelled from another town to celebrate her close male friend after he informed her that he had finally graduated from university. 

Excited by the achievement, she reportedly contributed money towards transport, gifts, and celebration expenses, believing she was supporting a genuine milestone in his life. However, events took a shocking twist when suspicions began to emerge during the ceremony.
