What was meant to be a journey to a better life turned into a painful chapter of survival, regret, and emotional struggle for Simon Bashir Kawuki, popularly known as MC Kapale. 

The Ugandan comedian had travelled to the United States full of hope, chasing the dream that many Africans believe lies abroad. 

However, his reality quickly shifted from excitement to hardship as he faced language barriers, joblessness, and deep loneliness in a foreign land.

Kapale revealed that despite speaking English, adapting to the American accent and fast-paced communication proved difficult. 

This made it hard for him to integrate, leaving him isolated and frustrated. Without proper documentation, securing a stable job became nearly impossible.
