Family Speaks Out on Elderly Man Who Refuses to Bathe, Claiming He Is Cursed by His Late Father

 

A heartbreaking case has emerged from Kikatiti Ward in Arumeru District, Arusha Region, where a 72-year-old man is reportedly living in extreme neglect, refusing to eat properly, bathe, or accept any form of care. 

His situation has left his family and community deeply disturbed, with many struggling to understand what could have driven him to such a state. 

According to those close to him, the elderly man insists that his suffering is not physical but spiritual, claiming he is under a curse from his late father.

The man’s wife, visibly exhausted and emotional, narrated how her husband locked himself away from the world, rejecting even the most basic help. 

Despite her efforts to clean his room, prepare meals, and ensure his hygiene, he refuses everything, insisting that his fate was sealed decades ago.
