Authorities Investigate After Businessman Is Reportedly Caught Storing Fish in Bathtub Inside Washroom Area

 

Stephen Akuoko, a 62-year-old businessman supplying ready-made food to local supermarkets, is at the center of a shocking scandal after authorities discovered unsanitary conditions at his home.

Akuoko had been operating under the name Tribal Foods for over three years. Shops and supermarkets stocked his meals, which were popular for convenience, yet no one knew the food was being stored under appalling conditions. 

The situation came to light when firefighters responded to a kitchen fire in Akuoko’s flat on Haines Way, Watford, in October 2024.

While investigating the aftermath of the small fire, emergency responders were shocked to find fish stored in a bathtub beside the toilet, with other food scattered across the floor.
