Many young people today are struggling silently because of unemployment, pressure from relationships, and the desire to maintain lifestyles they cannot afford.

According to the young man, he had completed university two years ago but failed to secure stable employment despite attending several interviews and trying different small hustles.

The graduate explained that at first, his relationship was peaceful and understanding. However, as time went on, his girlfriend began demanding expensive gifts, salon money, transport, dates, and shopping. 

Since he had no stable source of income, he started borrowing money from friends and relatives. When the debts piled up and nobody was willing to help anymore, desperation pushed him into criminal activities.

He confessed that he began stealing phones, electronics, and even money from people close to him. The young man said he never imagined he would become a thief, but he feared losing the woman he loved. 

Matters became worse when his girlfriend allegedly threatened to leave him for another man who was financially stable. That statement reportedly broke him emotionally and pushed him deeper into bad decisions.

After months of living in fear and guilt, the graduate claimed that his life became miserable. He could not sleep peacefully because he feared being arrested or attacked by angry victims. 

He also admitted that the stolen money disappeared quickly because he used most of it to impress his girlfriend and maintain appearances on social media.
