Nowadays, he wakes up early, dresses well, and leaves the house like a responsible man. He tells me he is going to work and that money is tight. Sometimes he even complains that life is hard and that I should understand him.
But what hurts me is what I discovered.
He never leaves money for food, rent, or even the children’s needs. I struggle to borrow from neighbours, and sometimes I sleep hungry. When the kids ask for school fees, I have no answer. Yet, he never seems stressed.
One day, while he was bathing, his phone kept vibrating. A message popped up and I saw it clearly: “Asante babe kwa pesa. Nimefika salama.”
My heart sank.
I later checked and found out he had been sending money regularly to another woman—his mpango wa kando. He sends her fare, shopping money, and even rent, while I suffer in silence.
I felt betrayed, not because of the cheating alone, but because he chose to spoil another woman using the money meant for his family.
Now I live with pain, anger, and shame, wondering how a man can abandon his own home to build happiness elsewhere.CONTINUE READING......................
