The head of state his excellency president William Samoe Ruto is risking impeachment as the president of Kenya Amid 2027 general elections just a day after his remarks against opposition leaders.
According to the latest news report by a reliable news source through Facebook social media platform ,ODM Politician honorable James Orengo has called for Ruto's Impeachment as he accuse him for not respecting the constitution.
While addressing the media in Nairobi County ,honorable James Orengo and his team have threatened to petition Ruto's Impeachment at parliament for breaking the laws of this nation.
He was joined by Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi, who also demanded that Ruto be called to order, arguing that the President’s conduct borders on gross violation of the Constitution.
The trigger was President Ruto’s explosive remarks during a public address in Funyula Constituency, Busia County, on Tuesday.
In response to attacks from Gachagua and the opposition, Ruto unleashed a barrage of personal insults, reportedly calling his former deputy a “cold-blooded thief” and “cold-blooded murderer” while accusing him of stealing from orphans and widows.
He further body-shamed critics, telling them to “go to the gym” and stop “eating too much” because “tumbo karibu inapasuka” (the belly is about to burst) and they were “sleeping in meetings and ruining the air.”
Ruto defended his outburst yesterday, insisting he was provoked.
“I was responding to those who started it. I am ready to face them one by one. One percent of my time I will deal with you… 99 percent I will serve the people of Kenya,” he said, while boasting about his own fitness routine.
