Sifuna, Babu Owino, and Amisi Warned of Consequences If They Defy Raila's Brother on Broad-Based Government Plan

A well-known political analyst, Professor Herman Manyora, has warned three young ODM leaders against going against their party leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking on Thursday, through his YouTube channel, Prof. Manyora said Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, and Saboti MP Caleb Amisi should be careful with their recent public statements.

He said these statements appear to question or oppose Raila’s support for a broad-based government plan.

“These young leaders must be very careful. You can challenge other politicians, but not Raila,” Manyora said.

“Criticizing Raila directly is risky. It could destroy your political future.”

The warning comes days after the three leaders made comments that were seen as opposing Raila Odinga’s position. Raila, who is the ODM party leader and a key figure in national politics, has recently shown support for a proposed power-sharing government that includes leaders from different political sides.
