The publication noted that it was during that meeting that the former ODM Secretary-General was removed from his position as Senate Minority Whip.

As divisions mount within the opposition deepens, the sources reports that a group of ODM senators was carrying out a plan at senator Ole Kina's office, where they allegedly agreed to implement what they agreed earlier during a meeting with President William Ruto at State House.

Senate Speaker Amason Kingi has already implemented the leadership changes, with Migori Senator Eddy Gicheru Oketch taking over the position.
