"Brace yourselves" Kenya Met predicts rainfall in these 5 counties from tonight to 9pm tomorrow, Wednesday, July 15

The Kenya Meteorological Department has released its latest 24-hour weather forecast, indicating that most parts of the country will continue experiencing dry conditions, although residents in five counties should prepare for rainfall and possible thunderstorms.

According to the weather bulletin covering the period from 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, much of Kenya is expected to remain dry. However, the department has cautioned that parts of western Kenya could receive scattered rainfall during the forecast period.

The counties expected to experience rain are Kisii, Kisumu, Nyamira, Bungoma, and Trans Nzoia. Weather experts noted that Bungoma is likely to receive evening showers accompanied by isolated thunderstorms, while Kisii, Kisumu, and Nyamira could experience scattered showers later in the day.
