Bad News for Kenyans as Popular Preacher Makes This Bold Prediction Ahead 2027 – Details

Pastor Ezekiel Odero has sparked fresh debate after warning that Kenya could face a severe famine next year, claiming the country may experience prolonged dry conditions with little or no rainfall.

Speaking during a church service, the New Life Prayer Centre and Church founder urged Kenyans to prepare for difficult times, saying the coming months could bring serious challenges to food production and livelihoods.

According to the preacher, the warning came through what he described as a spiritual revelation. He encouraged believers to remain prayerful while also taking practical steps to prepare for the future.

His remarks have since generated mixed reactions, with some followers expressing concern while others called for calm, noting that weather forecasts should be left to the relevant scientific agencies.
Pastor Ezekiel's statement comes at a time when weather patterns across East Africa have become increasingly unpredictable due to climate change.

In recent years, Kenya has experienced alternating periods of prolonged drought and destructive floods, both of which have affected farming and food security in several counties.

His remarks also coincide with ongoing national conversations about the cost of living and agricultural production.

The government has continued to roll out programmes aimed at boosting food security, supporting farmers, and strengthening irrigation projects to reduce dependence on seasonal rainfall.

Experts generally advise that long-term weather conditions should be assessed using scientific forecasts from the Kenya Meteorological Department, which regularly provides updates on expected rainfall and climate trends.

As of today, there has been no official forecast confirming Pastor Ezekiel's claim that there will be no rain next year.

Even so, his comments have attracted widespread attention online, adding another dimension to the national discussion on Kenya's preparedness for future climate-related challenges.

Whether viewed as a spiritual warning or a personal opinion, the remarks have renewed focus on the importance of disaster preparedness, sustainable farming, and reliable weather information.
