Babu Owino Whereabouts Revealed After Missing On Both Linda Mwananchi Rallies Today

Caroli Omondi has explained why Embakasi East MP Babu Owino skipped today's Linda Mwananchi engagements. According to him the outspoken legislator remained occupied with separate activities in Nairobi.

Omondi stated that Owino is currently engaging with aspiring Linda Mwananchi leaders interested in contesting various elective seats within the city. This kept him away from both major movement activities taking place elsewhere on Sunday.

The Nyahururu rally continued in Laikipia County led by Murang'a Governor Irungu Kang'ata alongside Senator Godfrey Osotsi and other allies. The gathering formed part of the movement's scaled back tour following earlier changes to its original itinerary.

Meanwhile a separate team led by Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna and Siaya Governor James Orengo focused their attention on Kisumu instead. The pair had earlier attended a church service before facing an alleged security scare afterward.

According to a social media claim shared by a Facebook user goons had allegedly been deployed to target Sifuna and Orengo. This came just as the two leaders were leaving the church venue following the completed service.

The claim regarding the alleged threat has not been independently verified by security agencies at the time of publication. Neither Sifuna nor Orengo had issued a direct statement addressing the specific allegation as it circulated online.

Owino's absence from both major gatherings has sparked mild curiosity among Linda Mwananchi followers monitoring the movement's activities closely. His engagement with city based aspirants nonetheless suggests continued behind the scenes political organizing within Nairobi.

The Embakasi East MP has remained a vocal figure within the Linda Mwananchi movement since its formation earlier in the year. His absence today marks a departure from his usual visible presence during major movement tours nationwide.

This dual mobilization across Nyahururu and Kisumu reflects the movement's broader strategy of maintaining visibility across multiple regions simultaneously. Both engagements form part of continued efforts ahead of the crucial Ol Kalou by-election scheduled for July 16.

Political observers continue monitoring how these parallel activities shape the movement's overall momentum heading toward the crucial vote. Meanwhile concerns over reported security incidents in Kisumu add fresh uncertainty to an already tense campaign period.

As the day's events continue unfolding across different regions many followers remain keen on further updates from all three locations.

Attention now shifts toward whether additional details will emerge regarding today's reported security concerns in Kisumu.
