Pastor Kanyari Goes Silent After Receipts of Sh. 510k Tash Paid For Sky's School Fee Emerge

Leaked school documents have added a dramatic new dimension to the escalating custody dispute between Pastor Victor Kanyari and his children's stepfather Hiram Gitau, popularly known as Tash, after receipts emerged showing the amounts paid to enrol the late Betty Bayo's daughter, Sky, at the prestigious Woodcreek School.

The documents circulating online include an admission letter dated April 19, 2022, confirming that Sky secured a place at Woodcreek School after passing her assessment.

Notably, the admission paperwork listed Betty Bayo and Tash not Kanyari as the parents responsible for the pupil's enrolment.

An invoice addressed to Tash on the same date showed that the initial admission costs totalled KSh 277,750, broken down as KSh 12,000 registration fees, KSh 235,750 tuition fees, KSh 30,000 caution fee, and KSh 5,000 emergency cover charges.

A student statement covering March to May 2022 further showed that KSh 273,000 had been paid out of the required KSh 315,750, leaving a balance of KSh 42,750 at the time.

The statement also indicated payments covered a school trip to Nanyuki and piano music lessons.

Most strikingly, additional bank receipts showed Tash allegedly making payments totalling KSh 510,000 to the school in mid-June 2026 figures that have fuelled fierce online debate.

The revelations come after Kanyari publicly alleged during a church sermon that his children had been sent home over unpaid school fees, a claim the leaked documents appear to contradict.

Kanyari has since claimed he has regained custody of his children, though he says he is open to co-parenting with Tash, provided the children first move into his Runda home.
