Kenya Met Warns Of Heavy Rainfall In These Regions That Might Cause Floods, Check If It's Yours

 

Even though most parts of the country will continue being sunny and dry, several regions are expected to receive occasional rainfall in the next five days, according to the Kenya Meteorological Department.

In its weekly forecast covering Tuesday, and Saturday, the department stated that some counties, including Nairobi, Mombasa, Kiambu, Kisumu, Baringo, and West Pokot, among others, may experience rainfall in the early days of the week.

Other counties, such as Mombasa, Marsabit, and Turkana, will also experience strong Northeasterly to Southeasterly winds exceeding 25 knots.

Rains and showers accompanied by thunderstorms are set to hit Siaya, Kisumu, Homa Bay, Migori, Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Baringo, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nandi, Nakuru, Narok, Kericho, Bomet, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Busia, and West Pokot counties the whole of Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. The rest of the week will be sunny.
