The Kenyan Government has today broken silence with a pivotal directive to all employed Kenyans across the country.
Addressing via Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura today June 22, 2026, the Kenyan Government has directed all Kenyans to report to their respective places of work on the 25th of June 2026.
The Kenyan Government has intimated that it has instituted strategic security measures to ensure the safety of all employed Kenyans is guaranteed on the 25th day of June 2026.
The Kenyan Government has notified Kenyans across the country that it has put strategic mechanisms in place to ensure that businesses are protected on Thursday, 22nd June 2026.
"June 25 will be a normal working day. There is no holiday declaration and all Kenyans have been asked to report to their working places.
The government has put in enough mechanisms to protect businesses across the country. Politicians planning to take advantage of the Gen Z commemoration to cause chaos have been put on notice," Isaac Mwaura stated.
The Kenyan Government remarks come at a time when a section of the Kenyan young generation popularly known as Gen Z are planning to commemorate victims of the 2024 and 2025 anti-government protests on Thursday, 25th June 2026.
