Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has announced a major leadership shake-up in the Democracy for the Citizen’s Party (DCP), appointing Nyandarua Senator John Methu as the party’s new Secretary General and spokesperson.
The announcement was made on Monday, May 25, 2026, during a press briefing at the party headquarters in Nairobi.
Gachagua confirmed that Methu will immediately take over communication duties and lead key party activities, including preparations for the upcoming Ol Kalou by-election scheduled for July 16.
He explained that in the vision, the attack seemed to reduce midway, while many were seen crying, greeting one another, and reacting emotionally to unfolding events.
The prophet urged Kenyans to remain prayerful during what he believes could become a sensitive period for the nation.
He particularly called for prayers for both former and current leaders, saying he felt spiritually compelled to intercede on their behalf.
He warned that the situation in the country could deteriorate further before eventual stability and peace are restored.
Dr. Ndlovu also hinted at concerns involving two leaders whose health or circumstances appeared to be weakening.
Without mentioning names, he suggested that the individuals could be at risk of death, a development he warned might create uncertainty within the country.
He stressed the importance of praying for national leaders and senior government officials serving under President William Ruto, cautioning that the loss of key figures in leadership could trigger unrest and instability across the nation.
