Gladys Wanga, the vocal politician known for her strong support of street protests (maandamano), has made a shocking statement. She says she loves joining demonstrations to fight for justice. But since the broad-based government started, she stopped taking part in them. She felt things had changed for the better.
Now, Wanga warns she might go back to the streets very soon. Why? Because of serious claims against former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
She accuses him of a terrible crime, getting young girls pregnant and then killing them to hide the truth......To Read the WHOLE STORY CLICK HERE
In her strong words, Wanga said: "I am known as someone who loves protests, but since we entered the broad-based government, I stopped. But there is one thing that will make me return to demonstrations.
There is a man who impregnates girls and then kills them. That man who gives girls pregnancy and then kills them must be arrested and put in jail."
Her message is clear and angry. She wants action now. If the law does not catch this person and lock him up, she promises to lead or join protests again.
Many people see this as a direct attack on Gachagua, who has faced similar wild accusations from others, including President Ruto's side in political fights.
Wanga's words have stirred a lot of talk online and in the streets. Supporters praise her for speaking boldly about protecting young women.
Critics call it dangerous political mud-slinging without proof. But one thing is sure: this statement shows how hot Kenya's politics remains.
Justice for vulnerable girls must come first, Wanga insists, or the maandamano spirit will return stronger than before.
