Newly-elected MP SAMMY KAMAU plays an audio recording of a victim killed by police in Ol Kalou pleading with them to spare his life during his burial ceremony (VIDEO)

Newly-elected Ol Kalou Member of Parliament Sammy Kamau left mourners emotional after playing an audio recording said to be of one of the victims who died following an assault by police officers during the recent by-election.WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.

According to reports, the victim recorded himself on his phone as he pleaded with the officers to spare his life while they assaulted him.

Despite his pleas for mercy, the assault continued, and he later died.

Mourners were overcome with emotion as the MP played the audio recording during the burial, with some breaking down in tears.
