The death of 30-year-old businesswoman and mother of two, Amina Yusuf, has sparked grief and outrage in Kagwa, Siaya County after investigators uncovered CCTV footage believed to show her final movements before she was killed.
The footage, which has become a key piece of evidence in the investigation, reportedly shows Amina arriving at her home accompanied by her husband and another man. Investigators say the three entered the compound together before going into the house, where they remained for some time.
Police are now working to establish exactly what transpired inside the residence before the incident occurred.
A postmortem examination revealed that Amina died from severe head injuries caused by blunt force trauma, suggesting that she was violently assaulted before her death.
