Speaking during his political analysis on Saturday, July 25, Manyora argued that the large crowds turning out for Sifuna's rallies are an indication that the political landscape in Western Kenya may be undergoing significant changes ahead of the 2027 General Election.
According to the analyst, Sifuna's recent tour has demonstrated his growing appeal among residents, particularly young people and grassroots supporters who have attended his public meetings in large numbers. He suggested that the enthusiasm witnessed during the rallies should not be dismissed as ordinary political excitement but could represent the beginning of a broader political shift.

Manyora suggested that if such leaders continue mobilising supporters through platforms outside the party's traditional structures, ODM could gradually lose the loyalty it has built over many years in counties such as Kakamega, Bungoma, Busia, Vihiga and Trans Nzoia.
He stressed that political parties must remain attentive to concerns raised by influential regional leaders if they wish to retain strong grassroots support. In his view, failure to manage internal differences could create opportunities for new political movements to gain ground.
The comments come shortly after Sifuna concluded a series of public engagements across Trans Nzoia County, where supporters gathered in large numbers at several stopovers, including Moi's Bridge, Sibanga Market and Kitale Town.
