EXPOSED: DCI Finally Reveals the Weapon Nairobi OCS Used to Cut Her Lover's Hand Before Pushing Her

Fresh details have emerged in the investigation into the alleged assault of 27-year-old Nicole Akinyi, with detectives revealing that a bottle was allegedly used to attack her before she was pushed from the sixth floor of an apartment in Kasarani, Nairobi.

The case has attracted nationwide attention after investigators identified police officer Agnes Mudigani Ndanu as a person of interest.

Authorities are working to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident, which has sparked widespread debate over accountability within the police service.

Speaking from her hospital bed at Kenyatta National Hospital, where she is receiving treatment, Akinyi described the events that allegedly unfolded after she and Ndanu returned from a night out.

She said she was struck with a bottle, suffered a deep cut to her hand, and was later pushed from the balcony.

The fall left her paralysed and facing a long recovery.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations and the Independent Policing Oversight Authority have both launched separate investigations into the matter.

The victim's family has also alleged that Ndanu used her position as a police officer to intimidate Akinyi and discourage her from reporting the alleged abuse earlier.

Reports indicate that Ndanu, aged 35, had recently been transferred from the International Life House Police Post to Matungulu Police Station only days before the incident.

Her social media accounts portrayed a lifestyle centred on nightlife and entertainment, creating a sharp contrast with the serious allegations now under investigation.

Public anger has continued to grow since the incident.

Videos circulated online showed security officers escorting Ndanu through a hostile crowd outside the hospital as members of the public demanded that the law be applied equally regardless of her position in the police service.

As investigations continue, detectives are expected to gather additional forensic evidence and witness statements to determine exactly what happened.

The case has renewed calls for swift justice in domestic violence cases and equal treatment under the law.

From her hospital bed, Akinyi urged victims of abusive relationships to seek help early and leave dangerous situations before they escalate into tragedy.
