The prosecution alleged that the church leader repeatedly made unwanted advances toward the woman despite allegedly knowing that his actions were unwelcome. Court records further claimed that one of the incidents involved inappropriate physical contact inside the workplace, while another alleged encounter involved an attempt to kiss the complainant. The woman told investigators that the alleged misconduct had persisted over a period of time, leaving her emotionally distressed and uncomfortable in her working environment. She further claimed that after rejecting the alleged advances, her responsibilities within the church changed, including a transfer to another station and adjustments to her role.
According to the case presented in court, the complainant also alleged that she experienced public embarrassment during meetings with fellow church officials, saying the incidents affected her emotionally and professionally.
