“Ulinipokonya Bibi Yangu” Businessman, 50, Hacked to Death in Bar For Snatching Someone's Wife

 

There was shock and panic in Makutano town, Kapenguria, after a 50-year-old man was hacked to death at a local bar in what police believe is a case of a love triangle gone wrong.

According to witnesses, the man was enjoying a quiet drink on Sunday evening when another man stormed into the bar shouting angrily.

“Ulinipokonya bibi yangu! Leo lazima ufe!” the suspect shouted, meaning “You took my wife! Today you must die!”

Without warning, the man pulled out a panga and attacked the victim. People screamed and ran for safety as the suspect struck the victim several times before escaping on foot.
