Ndii Reveals Why Some Ruto Supporters Could Not Attend Ruto's Statehouse Event After Inauguration

President William Ruto's Advisor on Economic matters, who is also the Chair of the Council of Economic Advisors has in his recent message alleged that the demonization of President William Ruto, was right from the beginning of his leadership, even after being declared the President elect.

Speaking through his official X page, Dr. David Ndii has argued that the Mt. Kenya Politics from the onset has been on demonizing the Ruto administration under 'Uthamaki'.

In another shocking revelation, the President's advisor even alleged that some of his supporters from the region, called President William Ruto, days leading to his inauguration, apologizing to him on why they would not attend a State House event that would put him fully in charge as President.

According to Dr. David Ndii, many of them had excuses of having other important matters of the community, when it was simply for the sole purpose of not honoring his inception into office.

"In the days leading to President Ruto’s swearing in, some supporters sent apologies to the President-elect to the effect that they would not be attending the Garden Party in State House because from Kasarani they would turn right and attend to long standing matter." Said Dr. David Ndii.

The statement by Dr. David Ndii comes at a time when there appears to be a fallout between the President and the people from Mt. Kenya region.

A section of Kenyans have continued to argue that the region may not support Ruto's reelection in the same manner they did in 2022.
