"Wachaneni Na Mimi" Allan Chesang Denies Harambee House Tender Claims, Threatens Legal Action Over Report Fallout

Trans Nzoia Senator Allan Chesang has firmly dismissed claims linking him to an alleged tender irregularity at Harambee House, describing the reports as inaccurate and damaging to his reputation.

Through his legal representatives, the senator has challenged the publication behind the claims, arguing that it crossed the line from fair reporting into misrepresentation.

According to the lawyers, the story created an impression that Chesang was either directly involved or played a central role in a supposed corrupt network—an assertion they say is entirely unfounded.

They maintain that the report has unfairly portrayed the legislator, exposing him to public criticism and potentially eroding trust among his constituents.

The legal notice emphasizes that Chesang has no connection with the individuals mentioned in the publication and has never authorized anyone to act on his behalf in such dealings.

“Our client strongly refutes any association with the alleged scheme,” the statement reads, adding that the claims lack factual backing and rely on speculation rather than verifiable evidence.

The situation has been further complicated by references to a past alleged procurement controversy involving laptop supplies to a government office.

Chesang’s legal team has dismissed this angle as misleading, insisting that no court has ever found him guilty of any wrongdoing related to such claims.

He now plans to pursue legal action to protect his name, signaling a readiness to seek accountability from those responsible for publishing the contested information.
