Just hours since his ouster as ODM Secretary General, Nairobi City County senator Edwin Sifuna has been given an escape route by Wiper Patriotic Front party.
Sifuna was ousted as ODM SG on Wednesday after the party's National Executive Committee meeting that was chaired by party leader Dr Oburu Oginga.
The fiery 43-year old senator is ODM's longest serving Secretary General having held the position for eight years since his appointment in 2018.
As he ponders on his next political move after his unceremonious ouster as ODM SG, Makueni County senator Dan Maanzo has now asked Sifuna to join his party, Wiper Patriotic Front party which is led by former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka.
The comment by Maanzo comes after Kalonzo posted a photo of himself and Sifuna soon after the Nairobi senator lost his position as ODM Secretary General.
As he bids for a second straight term in office in 2027, is joining Wiper the best political choice by Sifuna?
