Raila Odinga's ODM party has revealed ten names who have been proposed to take over various leadership positions in the party after a number of leaders were nominated to President William Ruto's cabinet.
In a press statement released on Friday, ODM communicated that its Central Committee held a meeting on Friday and deliberated on matters affecting the party leadership after the vacancies created by the official's departure.
In its statement, ODM said it had proposed Hon Kakuta Maimai (MP Kajiado East) for the position of Special Programs and Social Welfare. Also named is Rahab Robi (Migori) who will take over as Secretary of Publicity and Information.
Also named include Raila Odinga's sister Ruth Odinga, Governors Gladys Wanga of Homa Bay, Simba Arati, Kisii and Abdulswamad Nassir of Mombasa
Here are the other leaders appointed:

4 Ruth Odinga (Deputy Organizing Secretary)
5 Hon John Ariko MP (Vice Chairman)
6 Hon Otiende Amollo MP (Vice Chairman)
7 Gladys Wanga (National Chairman)
8 Hon Godfrey Osotsi, Simba Arati, and Abdulswamad Nassir (Deputy Party Leaders)

"We wish to thank those who offered themselves to serve acknowledging that many of them have already been of great service to the party," ODM noted in the statement.
Among the notable missing names is that ofEmbakasi East MP Babu Owino, who has been so vocal in the party and had even expressed interest to succeed Raila Odinga.
He, however, distanced himself from a group of ODM leaders joining Ruto's government
