A day after supporting President William Ruto's dialogue with Gen Zs, ODM party leader Raila Odinga has reportedly changed his phone number.
eventually raided the former Prime Minister's inbox with intense messages.
Speaking at the Pan African Youth Convention on Thursday, Kalonzo shared how Odinga's phone was flooded with cyberbullying messages following his meeting with President William Ruto, forcing the Azimio leader to change his phone number.
"I spoke to my big brother Hon. Raila Odinga on my way here. People went to visit him yesterday. And when they visited Baba, he had to change his telephone number. Because the Gen Z put his number everywhere. Maybe it's a measure of cyberbullying, please be kind to Baba. If they can do that to Raila Odinga, imagine who else in this country," stated Kalonzo

Kalonzo called for kindness towards the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader and commended the Kenyan youth for their efforts in promoting social cohesion through recent protests. He noted that Generation Z achieved what had long been difficult for major political parties and civil organizations.
"We need to clap for Gen Zs. Imagine they have taken over what the NCIC and political parties failed to do," Kalonzo stated. "I believe that the African youth can similarly emulate the Kenyan Gen Zs by claiming the rights enshrined in their respective constitutions," he added
Additionally, Kalonzo criticized President William Ruto's administration for using excessive force during the recent demonstrations, which resulted in the loss of lives.
This comes just hours after Raila bowed to pressure, saying he had been advised against pushing for the dialogue and handshake
