A lady by the name of Lydia_ not her real name in Nairobi has had it the hard way living with her husband Tim. She has had to endure sleepless nights and stress that have left her questioning the legitimacy of the institution of marriage. Could love be a scam? Or maybe it's her fault; there's something she's doing wrong.
Her troubles started after her husband Tim got promoted at work from a regular Research analyst to Supervisor in the Housing Ministry. They celebrated his newly acquired status with aplomb and followed it up with an upgrade of their locale to a posh estate in Westlands.
She hired a house
help to make room for more comfort for herself. At least spend time with her
two sons and friends.
Well, turns out she had opened a pandora's box of cheating and lying for Tim.
In less than a fortnight he had slept with the house help!!!
As is usually the case she found out. He had a snack in the
kitchen oblivious to the fact that she could see him. She saw him kiss the
house help on the neck !!! She was bewildered and angry! How could he?? Did she
deserve such humiliation?? She sent the house help packing and vowed to get
things in order herself.
"Am sorry babe, it won't happen again. I don't know what came over me,
must be the devil and his wicked ways. Am yours and yours alone. Am so so
sorry" he apologized.
A true apology is based on feelings of remorse and guilt. Unfortunately, Tim's apology was as empty as the promises our politicians make!! He cheated again with a bootylicious lady called Sandra.
And then topped
it up with Sandra's best friend Alicia. He was clearly on a rampage, and the
more he got away with his unchaste ways the more his appetite grew. Lydia on
the other hand informed both her parents and in-laws about her husband's
stinking behavior.
"Vumilia mwanangu. Ndoa yataka subira. Atabadilika Tu hivi karibuni. Tutakuombea Mungu akupe amani wakati huu wa majaribu" her mother said. She lost weight. She couldn't eat or sleep. She lost her mojo and self-esteem and would lock herself indoors.
In a bid to keep herself busy she
would go online in the hope that memes and funny videos would console her
desolate frail figure. Fortunately for her she came across a social media page
where someone had posted perfect reviews for a herbalist called Dr mugwenu. She
called him immediately, booked an appointment and the rest is history.
"My Tim is now mine to keep, cherish , love and care
for eternity. He is now faithful. He's taken an interest with the kids,
