Martin, a Ugandan living in Nairobi, Kenya, is desperately seeking help from former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko or any other person, for his mother, who is suffering from severe complications following an ischemic stroke in 2014. Martin, the eldest of four siblings, has been deeply affected by his family's struggles, especially after losing their father to a stroke in 2020.
Since her stroke, Martin’s mother has experienced frequent convulsions, severe headaches, and temporary memory loss. These unpredictable episodes often cause her to fall and injure herself. She has faced numerous dangerous incidents, such as falling from a motorbike and nearly being hit by speeding cars. One particularly severe fall resulted in a large scar on the left side of her head.Recently, her condition has worsened, with convulsions occurring almost twice a day.
This has left her unable to safely carry out daily activities, placing a heavy emotional and financial burden on the family. Despite their efforts, they have been unable to afford the necessary medical care.
Martin moved to Kenya with hopes of finding work to support his family, but has struggled to secure employment. The constant worrying news about his mother’s deteriorating health has left him in deep distress and unable to sleep.A doctor recently recommended an MRI to determine the exact cause of her convulsions and suggested medication to help manage her symptoms. However, the cost of the MRI and treatment is beyond the family's means.
Hi Kevinnewshub.com kindly advertise for me this post and make it go viral:
My name is Martin, a Ugandan living in Nairobi, Kenya. I am the eldest of four siblings. Our family has faced immense hardships, especially since losing our father to a stroke in 2020.
In 2014, my mother suffered an ischemic stroke that severely damaged part of her brain. Since then, she has experienced frequent and debilitating convulsions, severe headaches, and memory loss. These episodes are unpredictable and often result in serious injuries. She has fallen multiple times, sometimes in dangerous situations like on the roadside or from a motorbike, causing significant trauma.
Her condition has worsened recently, with convulsions occurring almost twice daily. This constant threat has made it impossible for her to safely manage daily activities, and it has deeply affected our family both emotionally and financially. Despite our best efforts, we have struggled to afford the necessary medical care.
I moved to Kenya hoping to find work and support my family, but I have been unsuccessful in securing a job. The continuous distressing news from home about my mother's worsening condition has left me in a state of deep depression.
A doctor recently recommended an MRI to determine the exact cause of her convulsions and suggested a course of medication to help manage her symptoms. However, the cost of the MRI and subsequent treatment is beyond our means.
We urgently need Ksh 200,000 to cover the costs of the MRI and medication. I am appealing to kind-hearted individuals and well-wishers to help us during this critical time. Your support will allow me to return to Uganda and ensure my mother receives the medical care she desperately needs.
