Joel Ssenyonga, a taxi driver in Uganda, was arrested while attempting to dispose of the body of a businesswoman who died in his house during a sexual encounter.
The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, met Ssenyonga on Tuesday evening. She agreed to accompany him to his home, where the unfortunate events unfolded.
According to police reports, the woman lost consciousness during intercourse and died moments later despite Ssenyonga's attempts to revive her.
Panicking and unsure of what to do, Ssenyonga contacted a friend for help in disposing of the body. Instead of assisting in the illegal act, the friend informed the police, leading to Ssenyonga's arrest.
The police arrived at Ssenyonga's residence and took him into custody. He is currently being held at Kasana Police Station, facing murder charges due to his involvement in the woman's death and his subsequent plan to dispose of her body.
The incident has raised serious legal and ethical questions about his actions.
Neighbors reported that Ssenyonga was known for frequently bringing different women to his house, which has added to the complexity of the investigation.
The police are looking into his past behavior as part of their ongoing inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the woman's death.
This incident is reminiscent of another recent tragedy in Kilifi, Kenya, where a man named Bernard Omayo died in his girlfriend's house during a sexual encounter.
Omayo choked on his saliva and died while being rushed to the hospital.
