While reflecting on the type of Presidents that Kenya had since independence, Gaucho wondered why protests had only broken out during Ruto's era, when Kenya had similar problems during times when past regimes where in power.
"The actual problem why youths are jobless is tribalism and was started way back in the day. We have had bad presidents since starting from late Jomo Kenyatta, Moi all the way to Uhuru. We never witnessed such protests when these leaders were in power why now? we never had Gen Zs demonstrating or NGOs supporting such protests why?" he posed
Gaucho warned Gen Zs, saying they should go slow on their demands to kick Ruto out of power. According to Gaucho, I youths succeed in kicking out Ruto through protests, then anarchy will take over.
He warned that Kenya will head the same way as countries in Africa where presidents have been overthrown and the military took power, hence suspending the countries' constitutions.
"Those who see Raila's fans as cowards who cannot storm State House should be warned that they can do things that will bring us problems tomorrow. We will regret it if Ruto is kicked out through this mode and not through elections. Kenya will never know of peace, Kenya will be like Sudan, Libya and all these other countries that kicked out their presidents undemocratically. Ruto's backyard will also likely retaliate in the future and lead similar protests to kick out a president from other region if this is allowed."
He said all Kenyans will regret the act of anarchy, adding that Ruto has come down and heard the youths and is in the progress of implementing their demands. He said Ruto should be given time to implement demands since he had climbed down.
"Youths should be keen on this war. You could be fighting, but other people could have put another force behind you. We don't want bloodshed in this country in a directionless war. You people started messing in 2013 when you gave Uhuru and Ruto the chance. Ruto has heard you, he has kicked out his cabinet, tried to engage you, and even brought a government of national unity and you are still crying. We cannot allow you to bring in KDF to take over and rule, you will not like it, I don't love Ruto but let's give him time, he has come down, so give him time to work," he added.
