Ruto's Govt Unveils Names Of Renowned Experts Who Will Lead Raila Odinga's AUC Campaigns

Raila Odinga's bid for the African Union Commission chairmanship received a significant boost with the government appointing a team of renowned experts to lead the campaign. 

Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi disclosed the formation of a dedicated secretariat during a press conference in Nairobi. 

Mudavadi, also the Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs, affirmed the government's unwavering support for Raila's candidacy, emphasizing its commitment to ensuring his success.

The newly established secretariat is tasked with various responsibilities, including preparing campaign briefs, developing digital materials, and organizing public debates to engage citizens across Africa. 

Mudavadi expressed confidence in Raila's ability to uphold excellence and advance the continent's vision for 2063 as outlined in the AUC development framework.

Heading Raila's campaign will be a distinguished team including Ambassador Mahboub Maalim, Professor Makau Mutua, Ambassador Elkanah Odembo, Ambassador Anthony Okara, and Ambassador Caroline Karugu. 

With preparations underway and a team of seasoned professionals at the helm, Raila's bid for the African Union Commission chairmanship is poised to gain momentum and make a significant impact in the upcoming months.
