Jane Wangui is mother to three children and fur the past 12 years she had been taking care of the children on her own follow the sudden death of her husband. Wangui is a hardworking woman who operates a poshomill and a retail shop in Kerugoya town.
Her first born child Francis is aged 24 years and currently pursuing Civil engineering course at the Technical University of Kenya located in Nairobi city opposite railways.

Wangui reveals that she hustles hard and does the impossible to pay Francis school fees and cater for his basic need in order for her to see him meet his dreams and have a bright future.
It seems that all that to Francis is normal things that parents are obliged to and never pushes himself to pay his mother back in form of him succeeding in life.
In school Francis rarely attends his classes and he is a drug addict that does every kind of drugs be it alcohol, khat or bhang, he never hesitates to abuse them. It has reached a point that he even smokes cigarettes failure to which he feels sick due to addiction.
Francis was once spotted smoking by their neighbors who alerted her mother and upon being asked he was quick to deny.
Wangui had to monitor him and through her investigations, she was shocked to be told by the caretaker of the apartment where Francis leaves that his son has been using drugs.
She and the
caretaker even planned and caught him red-handed partying and drinking alcohol
while chewing khat. Francis promised to quit but two years later opened up to
his mother that he had tried but the addiction always gets the better of him.
Wangui had to share with her fellow women and narrated how his son was slowly throwing his future away by abusing drugs that he could not manage to quit even after him trying for years.
